Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.' We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD. Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Haters

They say if you don't have haters, then you're not doing it right.

Could that really be true? Are people that simple, that predictable that no matter what it is that someone is doing, there will be another who is throwing shade? ...who is trying to put out their fire? ...who is simply being a hater?

Well, I guess this is the same sentiment as the saying "you can't please everyone."By virtue of diversity -- of thought, of mind, of behavior ... of humanness -- everyone will not-- no, can not want the same things. That is especially true if what one person wants gets in the way of what another person wants.

It is important to be aware of which stance you are taking. Any time spent wishing against another person's goals is time spent in the hater lane. And any time spent feeling guilty about someone else not being happy for you and your accomplishments is time taken away from doing what it is that you set out to do, even if you are just trying to be your own potato. Do you, and let the people watch. Let the haters hate. Be who/what you are, and don't spend too much time looking over your shoulder or out the side of your eye. If you look askance, you look like a hater.

Be. yoU.

But who aRe yoU?
